March in Pictures

I can't believe we are already halfway through the month of May and I am finally getting around to posting our March in pictures. The months have been flying by with each month being more eventful than the last.  March brought the promise of Spring and a few other welcome changes for our family.  We potty trained Jax, which was a huge event in itself.  We had our ups and downs throughout the process, but we had far more ups than downs and I couldn't be more proud of him for pushing through his fears and doing his business the big boy way.  We spent a lot of time playing in the dirt; prepping our garden, planting all our starts and flowers, and kicking off the annual spring cleaning festivities.  Nevertheless, more time in the garden + potty training leads to more time in the bath, which is twice the fun when it's in mom and dad's tub.  We also rescued a couple of crazy barn cats that somehow fit into our family as if they have been with us since the beginning of time.  I don't know what it is about cats, but our kids are obsessed with them and I am grateful that these cats just so happen to love the kids right back!  We wrapped up the month with a small Easter gathering at the house and an indoor Easter egg hunt (because rain happens when you live in WA), but we had a wonderful time and we even managed to get a rare family photo.  Out of roughly 75 photos, this is the only one where we all look somewhat normal, Maisen isn't crying and just about everyone is in focus. This is progress, people. :)

So without further adieu, I give you our March in pictures!
