Oregon Coast Adventure

The Oregon Coast is one of our favorite places to visit as a family (and I secretly want to move there in the worst way).  We were fortunate enough to spend the last week of summer on the coast, celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary and my Dad's 65th birthday.  It was a wonderful week full of all our favorite things: a quick stop in P-town, donuts and pizza almost everyday, chasing waterfalls and seagulls, breathing in the ocean air, finding sand just about everywhere, building sand castles and moats, flying kites and bi-planes, sunset picnics and long walks on the beach, campfires and s'mores, ice cream on the promenade, movie marathons and late night cribbage tournaments followed by early morning cold brew coffee, beach combing, and lawn games at the cottage. We also managed to squeeze in a brief pitstop at Cape Disappointment on our way out of town and the most disappointing part (aside from the fact that I'm not in any of these photos) was the reality that the week was over and it was time to go home.  Until next time, Oregon.
