Happy Hump Day, friends! Sorry I’ve been MIA lately. I’ve been neglecting the gram since we got back from Arizona (trying to get my life and house back in order), but I wanted to pop in and share a little sneak peek from Bret and Sam’s engagement session this past weekend. I think I have this one culled down to about 150 faves sooo it looks like I’m going to be editing for a minute.🤣 You will be seeing a lot more of these faces in my feed.😍

This is us. Despite the sun setting minutes before we arrived, Maisen falling and scraping both knees, Jax losing a shoe and stepping on a cactus, 18 mph winds, and Kris being totally irritated with me, my wish for a self-portrait in AZ with my fam came true. I didn’t have time to mess with the tripod so I set up the camera and asked my mom to step in and click the shutter for me. It was complete chaos, but it’s real life and all I really wanted to capture. Arizona, we love you.❤️ #p52radness

It’s my baby bear’s birthday today! 😭While I’m in a bit of denial that she’s 4 years old, I also recognize that each day with her is a gift and I am so immensely grateful that I get to be her mama bear. Today we celebrate her big birthday milestone doing all her fave things with her favorite people.❤️ #p52radness

Waiting patiently for both of my kids to fall asleep so I can continue binge watching This is Us with my Mom.🙈 Anyone else obsessed with that show? I just started the first season and I’m hooked! ❤️

Counting down the sleeps until Kris gets down here and we celebrate our little bear’s birthday! Family adventures and celebrations just aren't the same without him.

Jax and Nana.😍 They have a special connection that reminds me of the bond that I shared with my Gramps when I was Jaxon’s age. I took this photo while we were out on our evening dog walk. The sun had already set, but they were still playing tag in the grass and having the best time so I asked them to pause for a photo in the last light. This photo means so much to me and makes me wish that I had photos like this of myself with my parents and my grandparents. I grew up during the Sear’s Portrait Studio era so we have a pretty sweet collection of awkward family photos. Those photos are still golden, but these are the photos that give me all the feels.❤️
