Favorite Moments of 2017

I've never done a "Best of 20XX" or "Year in Review" type of post before. Picking favorite photos and coming up with the right words to summarize a whole year is an overwhelming task for me, but I had a lot of photos that I never got a chance to share last year so I decided to give it a try.  2017 started off pretty slow for me, mostly due to a long wet season that seemed to never end.  Spring came and went and I started to wonder if we were ever going to see the sun again, but then Summer arrived and life got a bit wild!  Balancing the responsibilities of taking care of the family, house, farm, and run this business is always a challenge, but it's even more intense when we get into the Summer and Fall months.  I decided to change things up this holiday season and made it a personal goal to deliver all my galleries by the first week in December so I could take the last few weeks of the year off.  It required many late night editing parties, but it was such a relief to be able to deliver all my galleries a few weeks before Christmas and actually have time to enjoy the holiday season with my family.  

So, to make up for the fact that I didn't share hardly anything between the months of June-December, I pulled together a little collection of my favorites moments that I got to share with some of the couples that I had a chance to photograph over the past year.  It was a year of adventure and I absolutely loved it.  I got a chance to visit some incredible places, meet wonderful humans, and witness truly beautiful moments with them.  I wish I could give each and every one of them a big "THANK YOU" hug for opening their hearts to me and trusting me to capture a small piece of their love story!  As I look back through all of these wonderful memories, I'm feeling excited and inspired for all of the new couples that I will get to meet and work with in 2018!  Here's to another year of love and adventure!
