My whole heart is in these frames and I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for my family. Snohomish is where we call home. We currently live on small hobby farm where we work, homeschool, and share our homestead with horses, donkeys, chickens, a dog and a cat. Everyday with this crew is truly an adventure and we wouldn't have it any other way!
I never dreamed of becoming a photographer or starting my own business when I grew up. Photography has been a passion of mine since I was a little kid, but I actually grew up wanting to become a doctor or a veterinarian. I fully intended to go to med school and even went so far as declaring a pre-med major in college. I burned out just before my senior year and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Western Washington University. Shortly after I graduated from college, I married my best friend, joined Corporate America, and started a new adventure. Believe it or not, there was a time when I was career focused, lived in the city, and didn't give much thought to starting a family or being a mother. But God had much bigger plans for me.
My journey into motherhood completely changed my heart and made me realize that my purpose and fulfillment came from serving my family. I knew any job that would take me away from my kiddos would have to be more meaningful and flexible for me and photography turned out to be the answer to a long awaited prayer. So shortly after my oldest son was born, I retired from my corporate job, started my own business, and here we are. It's been quite the journey, but I am so grateful for where it has taken me and all the wonderful people who have supported me along the way.
