Rustic Wedding at Huntley Lodge // Cle Elum, WA
I was so excited when Racheal and Jayme reached out and told me that they were planning their wedding at a rustic cabin in the woods with their closest family and friends. I really enjoyed this wedding for so many reasons. It was a beautiful day (probably one of the hottest days we had seen all summer), the people were laid back and fun, the food was awesome, the venue was unique and private, and my favorite part is that Kris was there to assist me! Looking back, there is no way that I would have survived the day without him. Despite having an early flight the next morning, he drove for me, carried my gear, made sure that I was hydrated and even did a little second shooting for me. Some of the frames that made this blog post are his captures and I’m really proud of that. Jayme is also a photographer so he made sure the day was organized and everything stayed on track, which made our job so much easier. One of my favorite parts of the day was when we snuck out of the reception for sunset portraits with Racheal and Jayme. Kris had scouted a spot earlier in the day and we weren’t sure how the light was going to be in the evening, but we took a chance and it resulted in some of my favorite photos from the day. I took a lot of photos that day and it was difficult to condense the set, but here are some of my favorites from Racheal and Jayme’s wedding at Huntley Lodge.
