Colin and Ciara’s wedding was one of my favorites this year! Ciara found me on Instagram and we became fast friends and supporters of each other’s work from the very moment we met. After spending an evening with Colin and Ciara and shooting engagement photos at the home where Colin grew up in Bellingham (check out their engagement sesh HERE), I knew their wedding day was going to be something special and I couldn’t wait to see their vision and all of their people come together. Ciara’s family is from Guam and some of them had made the long trek to Washington to witness and celebrate Colin and Ciara’s union. Their wedding day can be best described as a beautiful expression of their hearts for their family, friends, culture, and art. It was truly a joy spending the day with their families and getting the opportunity to collaborate with some really talented people at one of the coolest venues in Bellingham. The whole day was relaxed, casual, so much fun! Our only hiccup was that it rained during family and bridal party formals, but that didn’t stop everyone from smiling and having a great time. The best part is that we were given the creative freedom to focus on the organic moments and the people that made this day truly special.
